Day 1, Again....


Was nearly to the 10 pounds lost mark right before I went on vacation to Cali and of course, vacation got me off track.

Starbucks protein boxes were my friend, no candy, no chocolate, was staying on track and was so proud of myself for it! I even sat almonds, hard boiled eggs, and cheese while my boys ate cinnamon sugar pretzel bites in the SLC airport.

I wanted some SOOOOOOOOOOOO bad.


Day 1 in Cali was't bad. I stuck to the diet as much as possible. I really didn't have much of an appetite, I was just overwhelmed with being in Cali, the heat, sun, traffic, not having my angry midget with me, trying to navigate the insanity which was California drivers (seriously, Californias cannot drive worth a shit).

We ordered in. I had some veggie egg rolls and some chicken for dinner (we ordered takeout).

I could do this, right?

Then, day 2 in California came and we discovered the greatest fucking thing in Burbank-

Oh God, I died and went to ANTI-KETO heaven. 
The fresh pastries, the desserts, the everything.
It was fucking heaven!

I was screwed!

I couldn't say no. :-(

Walking and swimming was exercising, right?

Now, back to Keto.
Yesterday I started again, for the most part, after getting groceries.
Discovered these amazing Nature Valley Almond Butter granola cups. ZERO SUGAR!
They are rather lovely.

Very late brunch yesterday consisting of two hard boiled eggs, some strawberries, grapes, 
two apple slices with peanut butter, and Almond butter granola cups. 
Dinner was grilled steak with parmesan dusted, buttered grilled corn on the cob, and beans.

Not too shabby considering.

Today, brunch of roasted turkey breast, hard boiled eggs, cubed cheese, almonds, grapes, apples,
peanut butter, and strawberries. Dinner was a bacon cheese burger that I shouldn't have had a
a bun with, but I can't stomach eating fucking leaf lettuce. *gag*

I'm confident in being under 20G today. 
Yesterday most likely was under 30G after that candybar.

Going to keep moving forward and not let this vacation stumble stop me.
