Day 4
Day 4-
So far so good.
I cheated and weighed in when I swore I wouldn't outside of end of week weigh-ins, and discovered this morning I lost 7 pounds already.
That, my friends, is a win in the battle of the mom gut!
Today was a bit of an allover day.
Breakfast-
Angry Midget had a P1 Pack - 2G
Dani had leftover Arby's sandwich without the bun or any sauce - 1G
Lunch-
I made us scrambles.
Midget - Asparagus, mushrooms, baby swiss, and ham with two eggs and sour cream 4G
Dani - two eggs, baby swiss, and ham 2G
Dinner-
Pher - Arby's sandwich with bacon 2G, grilled chicken breast, garlic green beans 1G
Dani - Sugar Free Char Siu with sesame seeds 2G
We had Starbucks this afternoon, same as always and made correctly this time
6G each
Pher (I'm sure he cheated somewhere along the line today so we'll round up) 20G
Dani - 11G
I didn't have much of an appetite today.
From what I understand, the Keto Flu, as they call it, can kick your ass the first weeks of Keto.
The changes in the body and drastic change in sugar intake can really make you feel like shit. I don't feel like shit, per se, but I'm feeling exhausted (which happens with the Keto Flu as well). The migraine today could be because of the unhealthy air conditions at the moment due to local wildfires. That usually kicks my ass.
Cravings.
I'm having horrible cravings. I'm half-French. We live on pastries. I can't have them now.
I WANT A FUCKING CROISSANT!
Possibly I'll satisfy a craving with... There is no way to satisfy croissant cravings without shoving a croissant in your mouth!
The hard part of being a fat half-French girl that's trying to lose her mom-gut and get healthier.
